In 2012, the established Salon Express Brand welcomed Bianca Panozzo in the role of Chief Operations Officer. After completing over a decade of senior corporate roles in the Hair & Beauty industry (Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Goldwell & Schwarzkopf), Bianca brought her expertise to a new passion project.
One of Bianca’s great strengths is being able to identify trends and market opportunities ahead of mass popularity. Her vison to replicate the sophisticated and trendy UK high-street barbershop, into similar environments within more accessible locations came to fruition.
Why was it not possible to provide an engaging, stylish barbershop that could be easily visited by men of all ages and backgrounds within the comfort of their local shopping centre?
Referencing the success of the Salon Express business concept – Barbershop Express was first launched in Rockingham, Perth in 2015. The difference was clear! Whilst a number of stylish Barbershops have popped up, many appear to be more focussed on the hipster art on their walls than the quality of the service and experience. Barbershop Express has a clear dedication and respect for the craft of barbering, whilst providing affordable, high quality grooming services for men and boys.
